The exhibition examines imagined and mythic figures drawn from fantasy, memory and emotion. Ransome describes the works as monsters “from space, from other worlds, from imagination,” rendered in palettes ranging from soft pastels to darker blues and blacks. Together, the artists investigate where these monsters come from, what they represent and how they reflect internal feminine struggles.
